Simple Machines Forum (SMF) which is based on PHP and MySQL is a free and very popular bulletin board that allows you to set up your own online community easily.
Its powerful custom made template engine puts you in full control of the lay-out of your message board and with our unique SSI - or Server Side Includes - function you can let your forum and your website interact with each other.

Now the toksta* Instant Messenger can be integrated easily into the bulletin board software vBulletin. It’s based on PHP and MySQL and one of the most popular bulletin board softwares out there!
To download the modification just register and go to the “implementation” area of our backend. There you can generate your own code and download a detailed instruction. If you need help during the installation process, feel free to contact our support team.
The toksta* IM is also available for: phpBB, osDate, elgg, Wordpress, phpFox and Joomla. (All are available in our backend)

Today we released the beta version of our toksta chat rooms application. I can’t remember if there has ever been a feature (or rather an application) requested as heavily as the chat room!! And as requested we kept the UI simple and clean to minimize chances that the layout of the chat room does not fit the design of your community. Or in other words: to maximize the possibility for you to customize the chat. Because similar to our toksta video im, the chat is fully design customizable through css.
The beta version of the chat room also features:
If you register as a new user at www.toksta.com, you get a 15-day free trial on all plans and applications including the chat room application. After the 15-day free trial, we charge 15.00 USD per 30 days for each chat room. If you have an existing toksta account, please check if you are still in the trial period in order test the chat room for free for the remaining days.
